WORLD CLASS WINES
GROWN IN THE HEART OF YORKSHIRE
About Knotfield
Knotfield is a very special place. And Knotfield Vines – a very special vineyard.
Nestled in a conservation area in a leafy suburb of West Yorkshire, the two acre vineyard is framed by rolling fields, centuries old sycamores, and the north side of the River Aire.
Tucked away like a secret garden, the plot is a hidden gem in the heart of Rawdon village. And, in early 2022, it started its new chapter as a vineyard, established by best friends Laura and Sophie, and run by a small and dedicated family team.
Knotfield Vines produces traditional method sparkling wine which stands on the world stage in terms of finesse and flavour, but is unrivalled in terms of the hard-work, passion and pride which has gone into every bottle.
Our grape varieties – Pinot Noir Precocé, Seyval Blanc and Bacchus – are thriving in the cool climate of Knotfield. And harvest time boasts small yield crops of intensely flavourful grapes, which go on to become limited edition batches of sensational, traditional method sparkling wine.
Each bottle of Yorkshire Sparkling reflects Knotfield’s ethos – celebration. A celebration of Yorkshire, of friendship, of life – and all the special moments along the way.
Cheers to you.

OUR WINES
Our limited edition, small batch releases are individual every year, but consistently capture the very best of the grape varieties we grow at Knotfield.
Our Classic Rawdon showcases the citrus notes of our Seyval Blanc, with a minerality akin to white Burgundy. Our Bacchus grapes lend their freshly cut grass and floral flavours, and our pinot noir precoce grounds the wine with an elegant, refined finish. It’s a show-stopper of a sparkling, synonymous with celebration.
Each harvest is unique, ensuring each vintage is special, and captures the nuances of that particular year on the vineyard. What never changes, is the quality and joy in each bottle.
HELP US GROW
We want Knotfield to become a source of local pride – and would love to grow the community of wine enthusiasts we just know are dotted all around the Rawdon area and beyond.
As such, we welcome volunteers at various points across the vineyard calendar.
There’s always something going on – whether it’s bud rubbing, pruning, or – importantly – harvest time.
